Software that holds.
Softyal is a one-person software company based in Poland. Backend-oriented, architecture-first, shipping products that started as personal tools.

Built on experience.
Softyal is run by Dawid Stefański, a fullstack developer with a computer science degree and several years of commercial experience in backend systems and architecture.
The products are built the way the commercial work is done: starting from the data model, working up through the API, getting the structure right before touching the interface.
All current products were built to solve a problem the developer had. That tends to produce better software than building for an imagined user.
Architecture and backend systems are not just the day job. They are what gets opened on weekends.
Registered in Poland. Operating internationally.
How things get built.
Architecture
The structure of a system matters more than any individual feature. Getting it right early is cheaper than refactoring later.
Backend first
Most product decisions have infrastructure consequences. Working from the backend up makes those visible before they become expensive.
Interface after architecture
The UI is the last thing designed, not the first. Every feature exists because it earned its place.
Depth over breadth
One product that works properly is worth more than three that mostly work.
Personal use
Every Softyal product was built to solve a problem the developer had.
Stack
What is actually running in production.
Backend
Mobile
Web
Infrastructure
Observability
Payments
Most of these have been in production for years across multiple projects.

Gymony
Not a workout logger.
Not a generic plan generator.
Gymony is an AI-powered training platform for beginner to advanced gym-goers who train without a personal coach.
It generates a full periodized programme based on your goals, equipment and schedule, then adapts week by week through progressive overload, automatic deload scheduling, and AI weight suggestions based on your actual performance.
Simple enough to start on day one. Flexible enough to train your way. Structured enough to keep you progressing toward something that actually means something.
Written because nothing existing did this well enough.
Still used every week by the person who built it.
